National Park Service
Kings Canyon
The National Park Service installed this picture post in 2015 to encourage visitors to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks to become citizen scientists by documenting the conditions they experience that day. Scientists use photographs as records of a scene. We need your help to document the plants, clouds, and seasons—and how they are changing in response to a warming climate. This picture post at Big Stump Picnic Area focuses on changes to the greenleaf manzanita. Use the picture post to take photos and upload them here.
